Step back in time to the open market scene where vendors from afar commune to share their stories and wares. From food to fine arts to curiosities and confections, you’re sure to find something to strike your fancy down in the valley at the Foxburg Fall Food, Art and Wine Festival. The Festival opens at 11 am and will continue until 6 pm and this year it will surely be magical as it is about to celebrate it’s lucky number 7th year anniversary on 10/10/10!

Check out the area and the leaves a day early when you participate in the Fall Driving Tour on October 9th from 10 am to 5 pm. (Maps and brochures are available at local businesses.) Then stick around and partake in the initiations of festival day as Allegheny Grille jump starts this shin-dig with it’s ever anticipated Clam Bake on the eve of the Festival. For reservations, please call 724-659-5701.

You won’t go hungry on Festival day as you enjoy the aromas and tastes of nostalgic festival foods, the flavors of German cuisine for Oktoberfest at the Allegheny Grille or a magnificent pizza pie from Foxburg Pizza.

Once you’ve been properly nourished, peruse around 9 Main Shoppes located in the historic, refurbished bank building where you’ll find the intrigues of days gone by, locally made furnishings, leather goods, and plenty more.
