This year’s Foxburg Fall Festival in the heart of the Allegheny River Valley promises all your favorite activities and events as well as some new attractions!
The kick off of the festival begins with the Allegheny Grille Clam Bake on the evening of Saturday
October 1. For reservations, please call 724-659-5701.

Numerous musical performances by local musicians, including JD Eicher and the Goodnights, will be hosted at the Foxburg Green next to Foxburg Wine Cellars where you can enjoy samplings of their 31 unique varieties of table wines all from Pennsylvania grown and pressed grapes. Shop their vast showroom of wine related gift items and selection of hors d’oeuvres perfect for snacking beneath the grape arbor. Also, be sure to enter to win the “Giant Crystal Goblet” featuring the winery’s reminiscent fox insignia.

Weave your way through the artisan booths in search of unique treasures. Amongst the many specialized hand made creations you will find vintage silver wind chimes, stained glass mosaics, gourd craft, and cigar box guitars just to name a few! As you notice the aromas in the air a mix of fall, spices and the wafting smoke of the barbeque, you’ll find there are many of your favorite nostalgic festival foods from which to choose. There will be some tasty German cuisine in celebration of Oktoberfest available for brunch as well as in the afternoon on the terrace at the Allegheny Grille. Or try one of Foxburg Pizza’s magnificent pizza pies!

Savor samples and your favorite chocolate confections at Divani Chocolatier and Barista in their new location at 9 Main Street. Sip a nice hot cup of gourmet coffee or one of Divani’s premium hot cocoas as you explore a plethora of curiosities amongst the interior of the shop. Be sure to be on the look out for the Divani Apple Faerie again this year. Select your delicious chocolate covered caramel apples from the Divani Apple Tree and if you find her, you will surely win a sweet surprise!

Allegheny Riverstone Center for the Arts’ Red Brick Gallery is now open featuring a variety of original works for sale from the area’s local artists. ARCA will also host Wurlitzer Organ demos at Lincoln Hall on the hour starting at noon, as well as an on going drum circle, that anyone can join, and carriage rides to enjoy throughout the day.

River Tours are a new feature this year given by Kurt Crosbie. Kurt will be offering a pontoon boat tour special of 25 minutes for $10 per adult and $5 per child, just for the festival. For more information on Foxburg’s newest attraction visit http://FoxburgTours.com.

Kids events will be presented by students of AC Valley High School’s Japanese Club in the garden next to Divani Chocolatier & Barista. Look for their sign!

Want to get a head start on all of the action? Begin with the 3rd annual Farm and Country Driving Tour on Saturday Oct. 1st then stay over at the beautiful Foxburg Inn Hotel overlooking the Allegheny. This unique hotel offers 24 riverfront rooms with state of the art features such as Wi-Fi and flat screen televisions. Stay over festival night and enjoy live music on the river deck, starting at 6 pm.
